The New Kershaw Fillet Knife

If you're into stowing your gear super compactly, this sleek, folding Fillet Knife may be the perfect addition to your tackle box.

The New Kershaw Folding Fillet Knife has a 6.25" blade that folds into it's handle and stores neatly. If you're into knives then you know that when we say the blade is made of Japanese 420J2 stainless steel it has just the right degree of flex to make the filleting job easier.

Having the softer steel enables the blade to bend without breaking so that it moves easily through the body of the fish to give you the ideal fillet. Whenever you're working around water, it's important your blade is highly corrosion resistant, and you can be sure this one won't corrode.

This handle is a glass-filled nylon which makes for good durability and the rubberized overmold with the speciality texture grip ensures you always have a secure hold, even when conditions are slippery.

When the knife is in use, the blade is locked open for safe and secure filleting. It releases easy when you're ready due to the sturdy back lock. The design allows for a lanyard to be attached to it, for easy wearing and keeping.

Kershaw is proud to finally announce this knife to the fishing line. These fishing knives are designed to ensure outdoor enthusiasts and kitchen pros alike to always have the right knife for any job.
