One thing that makes TheFireStore unique and such a great place to shop is that the visionary behind our entire business, our CEO, Jim Witmer, has been passionate and dedicated to the fire industry for over 40 years.

He's been in the throes of the industry, knowing what's needed, what type of products would benefit you--truly knowing all the nitty gritty details of what it's like to be a firefighter.

After being in an officer role for over 16 years at his local department, he recently decided to still be involved, but step down from that role to have more time with his family and grandchildren. His department honored him with the title of "Chief Emeritus", to recognize his commitment and passion to serve.

We truly believe that TheFireStore is what it is because we're founded by someone with so much knowledge in the industry, and not only knowledge, but passion and dedication, too.
